Until it turns green
Busy day at work
Is where Ive been
Will be relaxing
When I get home
Enjoy the solitude
Of being alone
The light is green
So I accelerate
Didn’t see the truck
Until it was too late
The skidding tyres
Crunch of metal
Seems like forever
For it to all settle
Dazed and confused
My body in pain
I hear a voice
Ask for my name
People panicking
Hear loud cries
Difficult to see
Bloods in my eyes
Pain getting worse
It’s almost surreal
Maybe dreaming
This cant be real
Stay calm im told
So I do to try
Can’t help thinking
Im going to die
Sirens in a distance
I can now hear
Will be too late
Im starting to fear
Life passes by me
It comes in a flash
