Irugapatru Movie - Review in single line - Psychology and Marriage Counseling movie

Well well well had to take 2 days to watch it coz of the scheduleeee !!!

A worthy try by the director - dealing with marital discord the current upper middle class /urban people face now. You know I have so many yays and nays for the same.

1.Hatsoff for the good screenplay
2.Good music
3. Good casting - Vikram Prabhu is handsome !!

People coming out to seek help and their partners agreeing to it is positive , but a rare one too !!!

So @Adhyan , here's a list of things we can discuss upon !!

1. Do not ever bring your work home. Be it man or woman .

2.Respect > Love in any relationship - Love can always be the foundation, but respect for one another is needed to build it .

3. Never ever intimidate your partner - Indian men in particular enjoy branding their wives as "an educated fool" amongst their circles . Dude do you even know wat dal is used to make idli batter ??

4.Why doesnt a man know the basic human body ? She is supposed to put on weight after pregnancy! Body shaming her for that is the lowest behaviour ! Dude she pushed a 3 kg hooman out of her body.

5. The counseller broke the client's confidentiality by discussing them at her house and comparing them to her own life !!!! She is a DUCK - Looks calm outside but waddling beneath the waters. She could not express herself to her own partner!

6.The stupid husband fell back in love when his wife gave him 75 soveriegns of jewellery ????? Shitt - thats all ? Is that her worth ?? And the woman accepting that ? That was crappy !!

7.Giving the silent treatment ?? Omggg- how can one go to a no contact zone for 2 months ?? Big red flag to get back in a relationship !!! Communication is the key !

8. Vikranth hitting on married women in the gym, but telling his wife not to go to a unisex one !!!! Bruhhh grow up.

9.No couple is 100% honest with one another ! Honesty hour is a scammm !!!

Moral of the story :

1.Every relationship has its own issues. The thing is we dont have the time to sort it out, we just put it under the rug and move on with work. So seeking help is the alternative.

2. Do not stay in a relationship for any reason that does not respect you !!!

3
. A perfect textbook life is always a fake life

4.Understanding your partner's love language is important.

5. Always maintain personal hygeine - take care of foul breath, keep youe private parts clean, trim the hair in your genitals and axilla - helps in better intimacy !

6.Partners need to keep doing things that brought them together, even after marriage ! That is when things start falling apart.

7.Personal space is important these days - staying together yet not getting in each others way. Each partner needs a own "Me Time "!!

OVERALL WOULD RATE IT - 6/10 !!! :highfive:

People are more than welcome to debate on this movie ! Would love a healthy discussion !

Watched this movie a couple of weeks ago. The real feel good movie to watch. This movie is a roller-coaster coaster of emotions, U cry, u laugh and feel good at the end of the movie. Movie explores the complications of relationship in a subtle but serious way. Every relationship has some complications.

There may be many reasons to move away from someone but if u find one strong reason to live with them, don't let them go...

A must watch movie for couples. :fingercross:

Did you managed to find the name of that application? for better understanding / living :giggle:

The marriage life journey of three couples from different age group with different economic backgrounds is beautifully portrayed in this movie..

With a well put and balancing narrative except for some usual traits regarding some few conflicts...

I personally admired the portion of Sri & Sanyia ❤️ Despite being a mysogynist thaili, the way Sri realises his flaws and finding his way back to his love is something deserves a big kudos...❤️✨

Whats my view and observation ?

Kalyanam enbadhu oru thevai illadha Aani ..lol

Thanks @Nilaani for sharing & broadcasting this movie for free :p

Aww ... Its Great you find time to Watch movie and Happy to you write review on the same ...

Talking about Discussions Points

1) Statement itself Fake - Dont bring home bla bla work and so ... No one want to bring atleast your classified income people wont like to bring home .. But how they get away from that? will his responsibility or his superiors allow him to do so ? FYI after corona people who used to work till 5 PM in office or working till 11 PM in Home ... So neengha sollalam .. Practically tough in Current circumstances.. So my point is learning and Living our Life with whats with us without forcing (Eppadi dhan work pananum engha than pananum) us ..

2) Respect your statement - No means No .... So yeah respect earns everything ..

3) I am saying this intimidation ad Above statement continuation, when he respects obviously wont leave such loose talks

4, 7 & 8) May be Influenced His Surroundings (Place where he work, People he see in Gym and so on), Hope film revealed the same how he framed into his Thoughts about weight ... But on Serious Note, When A man and woman Gets into So called marriage life and Into family life with Kids .. They should Enjoy and understand with responsibility, If its there .. They will automatically understand After pregnancy issue of woman and Diversion of attention to other woman/Man also wont arise ... (Though its different and Big Topic)

5, 7) As you said in moral statement Its an Alternative (Counsellor), But if its not choosen wisely it occurs

6) Material aspect in any relationship is not worth, which gonna get creedier and No end to it ..

9) Neengha solda No Repeat ... Agreed !!
