Epic Legend
Hercules and Odysseus held their swords firmly in their hands as they walked deeper into the thick fog , moments later a pair of glowing red eyes appeared amongst the fog. "Wait , what's that" said Odysseus as he tried to see through the thick fog , moments later a dark figure burst out from the fog , "screeech" ...a large bird-like creature hovered in front of them , snakes stuck out around it's waist as it's red eyes glowed bright red.
"What is that thing..." Said Hercules as he and Odysseus backed away , suddenly the creature lunged forward towards Hercules and Odysseus and tried to eat them alive. Hercules and Odysseus swiftly dodged out of the way and avoided the creature's attack , they took one side of the creature each and cut the snakes off it's waist one by one , moments later Hercules and Odysseus stood side by side and watched as the snakes on the creatures waist grow back.
The creature screeched loudly and swiped at them with it's huge razor sharp claws , the claws collided against Odysseus's sword and shattered it into pieces. "Ah my sword..." Said Odysseus as he moved back a little , Hercules stood in front of Odysseus and defended his defenceless friend as he swung his sword towards the creature , Hercules sword landed against the creature and cut it , the creature screeched again as it's eyes glowed bright.
Moments later the creatures wound healed itself , "our weapons are no good" said Hercules as he and Odysseus backed away , suddenly an enormous blast of purple flames burst out of the ground in front of them. A matter of seconds later a man wearing a long black robe and armour appeared , the man held a sceptre in his hand as his eyes glowed green and purple flames surrounded him , "it's Hades!" Said Hercules , Hades gripped his sceptre firmly and pointed it towards the creature.
The jewel on the tip of Hades sceptre glowed orange as power surged through it , moments later Hades unleashed an almighty blast of burning orange energy towards the creature. "Screeeeee" ...the creature screeched once more as the energy blast hit it hard in it's chest , moments later the creature moved it's fiery wings fast and hard making the ground shake , "hold onto something" said Hades , Hercules and Odysseus moved back and held onto the trees as the ground continued to shake.
Hades launched himself up into the air and unleashed a barrage of burning orange energy blast's , the energy blasts smashed against the creature and burned it's flesh. Moments later Hades sceptre became larger as the base of it turned into a blade , Hades flew through the air fast as he held onto his sceptre tight , Hades turned his sceptre around and then "Slash!!" ....the blade on the end of Hades sceptre slashed straight through the creature's neck.
Moments later the creature's head became severed and fell from it's body , the creature's head crashed into the ground as Hades hovered there in mid air. The ground had stopped moving as Hercules and Odysseus let go of the trees they were holding , "you are safe now" said Hades , Hercules and Odysseus thanked Hades for his assistance and took a deep breath , Hades fired another energy blast at the creature's body and seconds later it had vanished.
"Before I go , Athena wanted me to give you this sword Odysseus" said Hades as he held the sword in front of him , Odysseus thanked him and took the sword. A few moments later Hades Vanished in a burst of flames as he went back to the underworld , "let's travel on shall we" said Hercules as he picked up an apple that had fell from the tree during the battle , they travelled onwards through the fog until they could see the shore ahead of them.
