The next day at sunset Odysseus had said goodbye to his queen Penelope and travelled onwards with Hercules , they walked across the rocky terrain as they headed towards the pine forest. After a few hours walking the moon had risen as Hercules and Odysseus reached the pine forest and walked in , a few minutes after entering the pine forest Hercules and Odysseus began to hear strange sounds around them , "I have a feeling someone or something is watching us" said Odysseus.
Hercules and Odysseus stopped and stood still for a moment as the pine forest became silent , the eerie glow of the moonlight shone between the tall trees as Hercules and Odysseus drew their swords. They heard the bushes rustling beside them and moved back a little , "show yourself" said Hercules , moments later a goat came running out of the shadows and ran straight past them , "haha it's just a goat" said Hercules as he put his sword away.
Odysseus continued to look around and then suddenly an arrow flew out from the darkness just missing Odysseus's head , "Hercules!" Said Odysseus as a centaur leapt out from behind the trees. The centaur fired another arrow towards Odysseus , Hercules moved fast and caught the arrow in mid air just before it could hit Odysseus , Hercules snapped the arrow in half drew his sword , Hercules and Odysseus moved around circling the centaur.
The centaur thrust it's hind legs out towards Hercules , Hercules ducked and the centaur kicked the tree and smashed a little bark off it , Odysseus distracted the centaur as Hercules climbed up the tree behind him. Moments later Hercules jumped out of the tree and landed on the centaur's back and held on tight , "ahh get off me" said the centaur as he tried to shake Hercules off himself , Odysseus swung his sword through the air and cut the strap off the centaur's bag.
The bag fell on the ground as Hercules wrestled the centaur , Odysseus grabbed the bag and found a net inside and then took it out , Odysseus put his sword away and started to swing the net around in the air. Hercules jumped off the centaur's back and Odysseus quickly threw the net towards the centaur , moments later the net landed on the centaur trapping him , "get the net off me!!" Shouted the centaur as his arms got tangled up.
"Surrender now or we will kill you" said Odysseus as he drew his sword once more , a few minutes later reinforcements had arrived as a group of centaur's appeared. The leader of the group of centaur's took the net off and put it into his sack , "you dare to attack one of us!" Said the leader , "he attacked us first" said Hercules , "we were minding our own business and then your friend attacked us" said Odysseus , "ahh lies , you will die for attacking one of us!!" Said the centaur leader.
The group of centaur's surrounded Hercules and Odysseus then grabbed their bows and aimed them , "do you have a plan to get us out of this" said Hercules , "no but I have hope..." said Odysseus as the centaur's moved a little closer and got ready to fire their arrows...
