Epic Legend
Hercules and Odysseus held on tight as Pegasus soared through the clear blue sky , Pegasus tore through the sky like lightning as he flew eastwards towards Athens. "Look down there , I see Athens" said Hercules , "we'll be there soon" said Odysseus as Pegasus started to fly lower towards Athens , a short time later Pegasus flew above the beautiful city of Athens and passed over the Parthenon atop the acropolis and then down towards the harbour.
Pegasus landed at the harbour and moments later Hercules and Odysseus climbed off and breathed in the fresh sea air , "there's nothing like the smell of fresh sea air" said Odysseus as he felt the warmth of the sun in his skin. "Ok Hercules you stay here with Pegasus while I fetch some supplies" said Odysseus , Hercules smiled at him as he gently patted Pegasus's head , Odysseus walked through the busy street's of Athens as he headed towards the market.
Odysseus bought some food and materials from the merchants and put them in his and Hercules bags , he walked over towards the fountain and refilled their water pouches and then beaded back towards the harbour. On his way back to the harbour Odysseus stopped by the amphitheatre and watched a play for a few minutes , a few minutes later Odysseus took an apple out of his bag and bit into it as he headed down to the harbour.
"Ah there you are" said Hercules as Odysseus walked up to him and Pegasus , Odysseus continued to eat his apple as he handed Hercules his bag back. "I got all the supplies we need" said Odysseus as he gave Hercules his water pouch , a few moments later Odysseus finished eating his apple and he and Hercules climbed atop Pegasus's back , "ok Pegasus let us travel onwards" said Odysseus , Hercules and Odysseus held on tight as Pegasus launched himself into the sky.
Pegasus soared through the sky as clouds started to appear around him , his white fur shimmering in the sunlight as he flew faster and faster , suddenly the weather had started to turn as rain began to fall. "Pegasus my friend , take us down to that island" said Hercules as he pointed towards the island , Pegasus flew down towards the island as the clouds grew darker and moments later he landed in the island below , Hercules and Odysseus climbed off Pegasus and set up camp amongst the trees.
Moments later Odysseus gave Pegasus some food and patted his head and thanked him for his help , Pegasus ate the food and his body glimmered brightly. Pegasus used his powers and within seconds a pool of fresh spring water appeared in front of him , Pegasus leaned his head down and drank the fresh spring water and then stomped his gloves playfully in the water , moments later a burst of red and gold light flashed beside Hercules and Odysseus.
Suddenly Athena had appeared beside them and asked if she could join them as the rain fell harder and faster , Athena sat beside Odysseus and used her powers to light the campfire. The fire burned bright as Hercules , Odysseus and Athena sat beside it , Pegasus moved closer towards them and sheltered himself beneath the large pine tree , Hercules went into his bag and took out some food and began to eat as Athena placed her hands beside the fire.
Odysseus grabbed his sword and cleaned the blade as Athena looked at him , "I hope you are using that sword well" said Athena , Odysseus smiled at her and said "yes it's a powerful sword , thank you". Athena smiled at Odysseus as Hercules chewed in some olive bread , thunder rumbled and lightning flashed amongst the dark clouds as the rain fell faster , suddenly they heard a loud growling noise coming from amongst the darkness as the ground shook.
"What was that" said Odysseus as he held his sword firmly , "I don't not know , but it sounds gigantic" said Athena as she grabbed her spear , Hercules stood up and put his fist into his palm. An enormous figure towered over them , it's eyes glowing bright red as shadowy figures surrounded it , "oh no...a Titan..!" Said Athena , she held her amulet , whistled and said a few words , "FLASH"... Bursts of multicoloured lights flashed all around them.
Reinforcements had arrived , Zeus and Hera stood side by side next to Pegasus as Poseidon and Hades appeared beside Hercules holding their sceptre and trident firmly. Artemis and Apollo appeared next to Odysseus , their armour shimmering bright gold , Aphrodite and Dionysus hovered in mid air holding their daggers as Ares and Hermes sat in the large pine tree above Pegasus , "sorry I'm late" said Hephaestus as he stood beside Athena as he held his battle hammer.
Moments later another titan appeared beside the other , the god's and goddess's of Olympus stood in a line beside each other as Hercules and Odysseus joined them. Hercules , Odysseus and the god's and goddess's of Olympus held their weapons firmly as they prepared to battle the titans...
