Everyone on board became silent as the ship flew into the nebula , "everything is ok so far" said Navigator Emilia as she scanned the nebula , the blue and pink gasses and clouds inside the nebula slowly swirled around the ship. Sam looked at the viewer screen closely and said "what's that , there's something out there" , "Emilia , zoom in on that object" said Vanessa , moments later Emilia increased the magnification on the sensors.
"It's a ship" said Sam , "scan that ship" said Vanessa , Emilia scanned the drifting ship for life signs , "there's no life on that ship" said Emilia , they flew a little closer towards the ship and then stopped. "There doesn't seem to be any damage to that ship" said Ilya as she looked closely at the view screen , "we could transport aboard that ship and see if there's anything useful" said Sam , Vanessa paced back and forth on the spot as she assessed the situation.
"Hmm ok let's go , Sam you're with me" said Vanessa , "have Doctor Mazir meet us in the transporter room" said Sam , Emilia activated the communication panel and said "Doctor Mazir please go to the transporter room". A few minutes later Doctor Mazir arrived at the transporter room just after Vanessa and Sam , "ok Vox , beam us across to the ship" said Vanessa , moments later Vanessa , Sam and Doctor Mazir had arrived on the drifting ship.
They started walking through the corridors and searched the ship's rooms one by one , "hmm no bodies on board...strange" said Sam , "maybe the crew evacuated" said Doctor Mazir. The lights on board the ship flickered as they walked towards the bridge , "the computers aren't responding" said Doctor Mazir , suddenly Sam had stepped into a small puddle of liquid and said"what the...what did I step in" , Vanessa scanned the liquid and said "it's blood and bone residue".
"Looks like the crew were vaporised" said Doctor Mazir , "that explains why there aren't any bodies on board" said Sam , "but what caused it in the first place" said Vanessa. The lights continued to flicker as it started to feel a little colder , suddenly the ship's computer spoke , "environmental controls failing" it said , moments later Vanessa , Sam and Doctor Mazir were floating above the floor , "the gravity field has failed" said Doctor Mazir.
"Let's try the computer system in engineering maybe we can fix it" said Sam , they floated into the elevator and and held onto the rail firmly , a few moments later they had arrived just outside the engineering room. They floated inside and went towards the computer system , Vanessa pressed and swiped a few controls as she tried to restore the gravity field , "aha I fixed it" said Vanessa then moments later they were standing on the floor again.
Suddenly "CLANG"...a noise came from one of the corridors nearby , "what was that" said Doctor Mazir , "hmm I don't know but draw your weapons just in case" said Sam. Vanessa , Sam and Doctor Mazir grabbed their weapons and started to search the corridors , suddenly something moved through the shadows down the next corridor , "there's something on board with us" said Vanessa as she pointed her delta rifle around the corner of the corridor.
Sam and Vanessa walked down the corridor slowly and silently then..."AARGH"... Doctor Mazir screamed as something grabbed him from behind , "help , something has got me" shouted Doctor Mazir. Sam and Vanessa ran towards him and opened fire and shot at the shadows behind him , Sam grabbed his arm and moved him out of the way , "what was that creature" said Doctor Mazir , "more importantly why didn't the scan for life signs detect it" said Vanessa.
Suddenly...."BOOM"...an explosion occurred somewhere nearby on the deck below them , "life support failure in ten minutes" said the computer voice. "Oh great , just what we need right now" sighed Sam , moments later the creature burst out of the shadows and leapt towards Vanessa , "oh no you don't" said Sam as he fired at the creature , he landed a lucky shot and hit the creature in it's ribs , "screear" screeched the creature , "RUN NOW" shouted Vanessa , Sam Vanessa and Doctor Mazir ran towards the lower decks and headed back to the spot where they had beamed in.
"Life support failure in five minutes" said the computer voice as Vanessa , Sam and Doctor Mazir arrived at the spot where they beamed in , Sam took out his communication device and contacted the ship , "life support is failing and there's a creature after us , beam us out now and have security meet us in the transporter room" he said , moments later the creature burst into the room and leapt towards them just as they were beaming out , seconds later they had arrived back on their ship but the creature had managed to follow them , "screear" screeched the creature.
"Shoot to kill" said Vanessa as she , Sam and Doctor Mazir ducked down , the security team opened fire and shit the creature dead , "Doctor Mazir take the creature to the medic station and examine the body" said Sam. Doctor Mazir and the security team carried the creatures body to the medic station and placed it onto the table , "right then let's get this over with" he said as he pulled his mask up and started cutting through the creatures dead body....
