As Vanessa and Sam investigated the hydroponics bay they found the remains of an explosive device , "hmm this device must've caused the explosion" said Sam. "It looks like there was a timer function on it" said Vanessa as she looked at the remains of the device , "we should examine it for fingerprints" said Sam , Vanessa thought to herself as she looked around the room for more clues , "they probably wore gloves so it would be a waste of resources to try" said Vanessa.
They continued to search the hydroponics bay for more clues but found nothing , "ok there's nothing else to find here , let's go" said Vanessa , moments later Vanessa and Sam left the hydroponics bay and walked over to the senior crew members. "We found this , remains of an explosive device" said Sam as he held it out in front of them , Vanessa looked at the senior crew members with suspicion , "one of you planted that explosive device in there" she said in a firm tone of voice.
"Ilya and chief engineer Vox you aren't on our suspects list , you may go back to your duties" said Sam , Vox walked down the corridor towards the engine room as Ilya walked towards the ship's bridge. "Doctor Mazir , you are also innocent , you can go" said Vanessa , Sam and Vanessa paced around the corridor a little as they looked at the three remaining senior crew members , "so it's just you three that don't have an alibi" said Sam as he raised his eyebrow and held his chin.
Vanessa and Sam started to question the three senior crew members , " ok...Navigator Emilia , where were you during these incidents?" Asked Vanessa. "I was in the botanical gardens" said Emilia , "can you verify that" said Sam , Emilia took out her key tag device and showed them , "hmm ok , your key tag device confirms that" said Sam as he checked the device , "you may go" he said , "and where you at the time if these incidents Chef Raj" asked Vanessa.
"I didn't do it , it wasn't me" said Chef Raj , suddenly Raj ran away through the ship's corridors , "go get him back" said Vanessa... Sam ran through the corridors and chased Chef Raj. Sam followed Raj towards the dining room and kitchen area , "I know going here" said Sam as he took out his hex rifle and held it firmly , suddenly a frying pan flew through the air towards him , Sam moved out of the way and fired a warning shot , "knock it off Raj or the next shot will be deadly" he said.
Meanwhile back outside the hydroponics bay Vanessa started to question the third suspect , "where were you at the time of the incidents Officer Reign" she asked. "I...I can't remember where I was" said Officer Reign , she slowly moved back a little as Vanessa moved a little closer towards her , suddenly Officer Reign ran off through the corridor , "oh no you don't" said Vanessa as she started to chase her , meanwhile back at the dining room and kitchen area Sam walked around slowly as he held his hex rifle firmly.
"Come on out Chef Raj , you're only making yourself look guilty" he said , moments later Chef Raj came out of hiding and slowly walked over towards Sam. Suddenly Officer Reign came bursting into the room and crashed into Raj , "what the... what's going on" said Sam just as Vanessa entered the room , "it's her , Officer Reign was behind the sabotage" said Vanessa , Sam quickly pointed his hex rifle at Reign and held is finger on the trigger.
Vanessa drew her nox pistol and pointed it at Reign , Officer Reign quickly got to her feet and grabbed Raj from behind and grabbed a blade off the kitchen counter. "Put your guns down or or Chef Raj here dies" she said , "put the knife down now" said Vanessa , "don't move or he dies" said Reign , "why? , why sabotage the ship" asked Sam , as he and Vanessa aimed their guns at Reign's head , "why?...I hate this ship , I got pulled into this without a choice , they made me join the crew to stop you from exploring" said Reign.
"Who made you join?" Asked Vanessa , "they even gave me this communication device" said Reign , "who made you do this" asked Sam , suddenly the device in Reign's hand started to glow red and beep. Sam fired a shot as Reign was distracted by the device , the laser blast hit her shoulder and made her drop the blade , Chef Raj ran away from her and out into the corridor , the device in Reign's hand flashed brighter , "that can't be good" said Vanessa.
Suddenly the device in Reign's hand unleashed a red light and vaporised her , "those people she mentioned must've been listening in" said Sam , "they turned the device into an explosive incase she revealed who she worked for" said Vanessa. Moments later Vanessa and Sam left the dining room and kitchen area and walked through the corridors and headed to the ship's bridge , Vanessa activated the ship wide communicator and said , "the saboteur has been found and dealt with , but it appears that she was working with outsider's".
Meanwhile in the cargo bay shadows moved around and as the outsider's heard the message , "they know..." Said one of the outsider's as their red eyes glowed in the low light...
