Whisper's filled the meeting room as the senior crew members talked about the incident with the warp core , "ok quiet everyone please" said Vanessa. "I'm sure you all know by know that someone or something tried to sabotage the warp core" said Vanessa , "the warp core controls were messed about with , that's why it started to overload" said Sam , the senior crew members panicked a little at the thought of knowing a saboteur was aboard the ship.
"Do you have any suspects?" asked Ilya one of the pilot's , "after doing my investigation , only a handful of crew members have clearance to be in the engine room" said Sam. "So that means only a senior crew member could've got in there to sabotage the warp core" said Vanessa , the senior crew members , Vanessa and Sam continued to assess the situation , "only a few of you didn't have an alibi" said Sam , "who?" asked Ilya , Vanessa showed the camera footage from around the ship.
"Everyone you see in the camera footage is innocent , but whoever tried to sabotage the warp core avoided the cameras by crawling through the air vents" said Sam. "I didn't see anyone else in the engine room before you came in" said Vox the chief engineer , Vanessa paced around the room a little , "the air vent covers were secure around the engineering room" said Elisa the head of security , "hmm strange" thought Vanessa as Sam sat down at the table.
Suddenly "BOOM"...the entire ship shook and the alarm went off , "red alert...red alert... explosion detected in the hydroponics bay" said the computer voice. "Not again...chief Vox go seal the hydroponics bay" said Vanessa , Vox got up and ran towards the hydroponics bay as fast as he could and put a hazard suit on , he went inside and held onto the metal rail and used the computer console next to it , "activate shield in hydroponics bay" he said.
Moments later a shield surrounded the small hole in the ships hull , he used the communication array and contacted the meeting room , "looks like someone planted an explosive device , luckily the plants are ok and the damage to the hull is small" said Vox. "Hmm ok Vox , fix that hull as fast as you can" said Vanessa , "shouldn't take long to fix the hull , we should all go and look" said Sam , Vanessa and the senior crew members nodded in agreement and left the meeting room
A few minutes later they all arrived just outside hydroponics bay and then the door opened , "the hull is fixed now" said Vox , "ok everyone wait here , Sam you come with me to find clues" said Vanessa. Sam and Vanessa walked into the hydroponics bay and began to search for clues to find out who was behind the sabotage...
