Supreme Court said that a Daughter is entitled to equal property rights under tyhe amended Hindu Succession Act.
Such Unifrom Civil code if implemented sooner or later can benefit the Women for evry religion in india❤

"Once a daughter always a daughter" reiterated the supreme court judge.

The apex court's verdict came on the issue whether the 2005 of the original succession act 1956 that raised an important legal issue whether the Hindu Succession (Amendment) which gave equal rights to daughters in ancestral property, has a retrospective effect.

Holding that daughters cannot be deprived of their right of equality irrespective of anything, the Supreme Court Tuesday ruled that they will have equal coparcenary rights in joint Hindu family property even if the father died before the Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act 2005.

Good decision by court though there should be some additional clause in this amendment.

Most of the property is already in women name onmy but the decision was taken by men. Women easily bound by emotional and get cheated by their blood relations. If women need to be independent they need to keep their savings of 50 % of their salary or at least 25% of the salary amount for their own safety. Women highly get cheated by their blood relation and by their boy friends or husband too, so always be careful in money matters caz I saw many incidents infront of my eyes. Don’t sign any property documents just like that,
