Favoured Frenzy
With every inch of the unending night
As the world was out of my mortal sight
Time stayed thick like a giant iceberg
To tie me with Self and to humbug
In the realm of the silent night
I rolled and rolled in utter fright
Though you were not seen around
Still you spoke me without sound
Hard pressed I remained unmoved
As memory didn't get me removed
Rather held me tight to reel under
To split me off from the very core
And I stayed awake all night
To envision my love with my sight
Though you were far and unreachable
Still you shook me and made me unstable
And I rued and pined for my fleeting love
Though unseen, still which fluttered like a fluttering dove.
