Several months later...
It is now May 1849 and spring is in full bloom as the town of Blackthorn Valley celebrated it's one hundredth anniversary , the streets were bustling as the townsfolk walked around the market and the shops. The sun shone high in the clear blue sky as the river shimmered in the light as it flowed through the town , visitors from the nearby town began to arrive at the train station as the birds flew high above them and the streets became a little crowded as people were rushing to buy the items on sale.
The celebrations continued throughout the day and into the night , the smell of food and the sound of music filled the air as the moon shone over Blackthorn Valley. Meanwhile at their home Daniel and Talia had awoken and dressed themselves , "shall we go out" said Daniel as he looked at Talia and smiled , "yes I would like to see the celebrations" said Talia as they left their bedroom and walked down the stairs into the hallway.
A few minutes or so later Daniel and Talia had arrived at the center of town and stood beside the fountain , they watched as the fireworks flashed , crackled and boomed high up in the night sky. Daniel held Talia's hand as they walked around and watched the fireworks as they continued to burst in a mixture of colours , as the music continued to fill the air Daniel and Talia saw some balloons floating around the market stalls.
"I have not seen these before , what are they" said Talia , "they're balloons miss , a very recent invention" said the merchant as he smiled at her , Daniel and Talia continued to walk onwards through the market as they headed towards Blackthorn museum. A few minutes later they were standing outside the museum and suddenly a dog ran up towards them , "look Daniel, it is this dog again" said Talia as she reached her arm out and patted the dog's head.
The dog wagged it's tail and panted a little , a few moments later the dog picked up the scent of food and ran towards the market , "the dog must have smelled all that food back there" said Daniel. Talia smiled a little and they continued to walk onwards , the visitors from the nearby town walked past them and waved as they headed towards the center of the town , a moment later they heard the steam train leaving the station as they walked past it.
They walked onwards and turned left into an alley and stood there for a moment and looked at the posters on the wall , "hmm so there is a circus coming to Blackthorn Valley soon" said Daniel. "I should like to visit the circus when it arrives" said Talia as she placed her arm around his waist , Daniel kissed her forehead gently as they continued to read the posters on the wall , "look , the summer faire is being held in July" said Talia , "I have never been to a faire before , our old town Ravenwood never did any events" said Daniel.
Five minutes later...
Daniel and Talia continued to walk through the darker alleyways , Daniel stopped and stood still suddenly and gazed deeply into Talia's beautiful red eyes and then kissed her soft lips. "Oh my..." Said Talia almost blushing , "I am going to take you right here and now" said Daniel as he moved up against the wall and kissed her once more...
