Epic Legend
It was the year 1847 and autumn had already begun , the cool wind blew as the leaves fell from the trees and floated through the air , the moon shone bright between the cracks of the clouds in the night sky as a woman called Talia stood beside the clifftop. Her long black dress and her long brown hair flowed in wind as her pale white skin glowed a little in the moonlight , Talia sighed as she stared out towards the sea , her blood red coloured eyes glimmered beneath the moonlight.
She whispered "it's so peaceful here , just like the silence before a storm" , she closed her eyes and let the surroundings sink in as she placed a hand upon her chest. Moments later a voice behind her said "get back inside the house it's not safe" , "I like it here" said Talia as she stared at the moon , "I said get inside now!!" Said the man , Talia's head dropped a little in sadness as she turned around and followed the man towards her home....her prison.
After they got back inside they sat at the table in the dining room , "how many times do I have to tell you not to go outside" said the man as he looked at Talia with his red eyes. "I like it outside , why won't you let me go out Vladimir" said Talia , "because I am Count Vladimir Dracula prince of darkness and these peasants want to kill us" said Vladimir , "I want to be free of this place , from you..." Said Talia , Vladimir thrust his fist into the table and his eyes glowed.
"No you will stay here with me for eternity" said Vladimir , "do you feel nothing for me?" Asked Talia , "I have no heart , no soul , I feel no love nor happiness" he said. "Then let me go...I beg of you" said Talia , Vladimir stood up and moved fast like a shadow towards her placed his hand around her neck , "I will never release you , you are mine for eternity!" Shouted Vladimir , moments later he let go of her neck and vanished into the darkness.
Talia stared at the rose in the vase as it began to wither , the petal's falling onto the table as she shed a tear , "I will escape this place and you , I will find a new man" she whispered. A few days later in the evening Talia stood by the window in her bedroom and watched the gardener tending to the roses and the hedge's , she stared at him intensely as her eyes glimmered a little in the candlelight , a few moments later the gardener looked up and saw her standing by the window.
He raised his arm a little and waved at her , Talia hid her face a little behind her sleeve as she looked at him , moments later Vladimir called to the gardener and invited him inside. "Ah come in Daniel" said Vladimir , "do you need something?" Asked Daniel , "I am inviting you to our masquerade ball next week on Halloween" said Vladimir as Talia came down the spiral staircase , "will you come?" Asked Vladimir as Daniel looked at Talia.
"I accept your invitation" said Daniel as he smiled , "then we shall meet again soon" said Vladimir , moments later Vladimir walked up the spiral staircase towards his room. Talia walked towards Daniel and whispered in his ear "please take me away from here , Vladimir is keeping me prisoner here in this wretched place" she said , "what can I do?" Whispered Daniel , "nothing yet but meet me at the masquerade ball on Halloween night and we can talk privately" said Talia.
A moment later Talia had vanished into the shadows as Daniel ran his fingers through his hair , Daniel left the house and went home to his cabin in the woods , after he arrived home he lit the fireplace and sat down then ate some food. He thought to himself for a moment "Vladimir and Talia seem a little....strange but friendly enough" , he finished drinking his tea and fell asleep on his chair in front of the fire , as he slept he began to dream.
Images of Talia appeared in his dreams , he could her voice calling to him , whispering to him from the darkness then suddenly he saw Vladimir staring at him then leaping towards him. Daniel suddenly woke up , "ugh it's just a dream..." He said to himself....
