Favoured Frenzy
There are good days and days of sorrow
When all I do is think of you,
And in starry nights I long to borrow
Your love in sighs I’m breathing through.
In this vast world, it is our fate
That’s brought us closer for a while,
And though we doubt, the sweetest weight
Is love that moans like seas in trial.
And if you feel the same delightful
In moments born from poetry,
It means your heart is just as rightful,
Sowing sun and sorcery.
Since every dawn begins to break
I search for you through windows strange,
For only you my life awake,
And I your years in warmth arrange.
This planet once was cold and hollow,
A world of silence, still and mute,
But now, beyond all words we follow,
