The blazing hot sun shone bright over the Australian outback
Snakes slithered across the desert sand as the koala's sat in the eucalyptus trees
As the kangaroo's hopped around a woman called Leah was driving through the wilderness
Leah drove at high speed across the rocky and sandy terrain creating a trail of dust behind her
She travelled across several hundred kilometres across the outback until she reached her destination
She got out of her car and put her backpack on then walked about a little as she searched for something
Leah walked across the rocky and sandy terrain for a few minutes until she found what she was looking for
She took a lantern out of her backpack and lit it then walked into a cave
Leah walked further into the cave and found an abandoned mine , "there you are" said Leah
She walked deeper into the mine and followed the tracks until she reached the end
Leah started to feel the heat building up and took a bottle of water out of her backpack and drank a little
Moments later she saw something glimmer in the light , she took out her tools and started digging
Leah dug carefully until she uncovered a large nugget of gold , her eyes glimmered in the lamp light
"What a beaut" said Leah as she smiled , she kept digging around and found more gold nuggets and placed them in her backpack
Suddenly a rainbow of colours appeared on the cave wall as she moved the lamp around
Leah carefully chipped away at the stone and uncovered chunks of opal
She held the opal in the light , the opal glowed in a rainbow of colours in the lam light
"Beautiful" said Leah , she placed the chunks of opal and tools into her backpack and started to walk out
She had reached the exit and then suddenly fell onto the sandy terrain and passed out....
