Vanessa and Edward kept their distance from the city of Athens to avoid being seen , greek warriors on their horses rode past them at high speed then suddenly they turned around and headed straight for them. "Let's get out of here" said Edward , Vanessa and Edward ran back to where they were and went back through the portal , Vanessa used her strange device and fired it at the portal just as a spear came through it and then closed it , "that was close" said Edward , Vanessa and Edward left the opera house and walked back to her hover car.
As they got into her car Vanessa called her office and told her colleagues about the portals at the aquarium and the opera house , Vanessa started her hover car and flew off through the city , moments later they landed the car outside the office building and went inside , they took the elevator up to the top floor and walked into the main office building room , "welcome back boss" said one of the women as they sat at their desk , Vanessa smiled as she and Edward walked towards the window , "so you're the boss then" he said.
Vanessa nodded and smiled at him then suddenly an explosion outside rocked the building and shattered the windows in the main office room , Edward was hit by the blast and was sent through the air and into a wall. "What happened out there" thought Vanessa , she ran over to Edward as he lay there , his body covered in cuts and bruises as started to bleed out , "get the medics" shouted Vanessa , moments later the medics rushed in they picked him up and placed him on a table and started to treat his injuries.
"It's not looking good boss" said one of the medics as he scanned Edwards body , suddenly Edward had a seizure , his body shook violently for a minute then suddenly stopped , his arm hung over the table as he stopped breathing...
