Icarus and his crew along with Perseus climbed aboard the ship and set sail eastwards and after several hours the wind suddenly picked up speed , a storm coming their way. Icarus looked out to see and spotted an island surrounded by a reef, suddenly they could hear voices in the distance , a burst of red light flashed in front of them and Athena appeared, "beware the voices of the sirens, they will try to lure you into the reef with their beautiful singing" , said Athena. Icarus told Perseus and his crew to put cloth into their ears to protect them from the sirens singing, they kept sailing onwards and suddenly the storm had arrived, flashes of lightning and thunder booming as the waves rocked the ship. As they sailed closer to the island trying to avoid crashing into the reef the Siren's flew into the air and headed straight towards them Icarus and Perseus drew their swords and defended the ship as the crew tried to sail away from the reef , Icarus and Perseus slashed their swords in the air landing a deadly blow on one of the sirens. The siren fell into the raging sea as the other sirens continued their attack and killed one of the crewmen, Icarus and Perseus kept slashing their swords in the air and landed another blow on one of the sirens , the sirens screeched and flew away retreating back to their island. The crew managed to turn the ship away from the reef and continued eastwards. After a couple of days sailing eastwards they reached another island, "this is my home" said Perseus then he climbed off the ship and walked up the hill towards the city and waved goodbye, Icarus and his crew sailed on for several hours and suddenly another ship appeared, the other ship was heading straight towards them , as the ship got closer and closer they stopped next to each other , "I'm Icarus and this is my crew , who are you friend" he said , "I am Odysseus and these fine men are my crew" he said Odysseus asked which direction they were heading, "ah I'm heading that way , why not travel together" said Odysseus, Icarus nodded in agreement then Icarus and Odysseus and their crews sailed changed direction and headed south east together as the storm raged on...to be continued
