Epic Legend
The wind blew strong as Hercules held onto the rope bridge and began to slowly walk across it , the rope bridge swayed a little in the wind as Hercules gripped it tighter. Hercules stopped for a moment and turned his head a little and said "It is safe to cross" , a moment later Athena and Odysseus began to cross the rope bridge , as they all crossed the rope bridge they heard a sound coming from above them , "what is that sound?" Said Odysseus as he looked around.
As they looked around them Hercules pointed towards up towards the side of the mountain , "looks there , it is a rockfall" said Hercules , Athena , Odysseus and Hercules began to cross the rope bridge faster as rocks tumbled down the mountainside towards them. "LOOK OUT!!" Shouted Odysseus as the rocks fell all around the bridge , "MOVE FASTER!" shouted Hercules as the rocks began to smash against the rope bridge.
Hercules moved faster across the bridge as Athena and Odysseus dodged the rocks , moments later Hercules had reached the end of the bridge and made it safely back onto the path. As rocks continued to fall Athena and Odysseus moved a little faster , suddenly a large rock fell towards Athena , "LOOK OUT!!" shouted Hercules , Odysseus moved across the bridge faster and shouted to Athena to move out of the way , a few moments later Athena had reached safety and stood beside Hercules.
The rockfall continued to smash against the rope bridge as Odysseus continued to cross it , the rocks smashed through the planks of wood and made a hole in the bridge. The rope became damaged and started to tear , "the bridge is going to collapse!" Shouted Odysseus , Athena started to move towards the bridge, "no do not go on the bridge it is not safe" said Hercules as he placed his hand on Athena's shoulder , "I cannot stand here and do nothing!" Said Athena.
"For now you must" said Hercules as Odysseus tried to keep his balance as the bridge continued to sway in the wind and the rocks kept smashing against it. Odysseus held onto the rope bridge as tight as he could and then suddenly the rope snapped , Athena and Hercules watched as the rope bridge collapsed , "ODYSSEUS!!" shouted Athena and Hercules as they watched him fall , they moved to the edge of the path and looked down.
As they looked down they saw Odysseus hanging onto the broken bridge slowly climbing his way up , "he is safe" said Hercules , "not quite yet" said Athena as she used her power's. Athena used her divine power's and created an energy bubble around Odysseus , the energy bubble lifted him up through the air and to the top of the edge of the mountain path beside Athena and Hercules , "now he is safe" said Athena as the energy bubble faded and Odysseus stood beside them safe and sound.
"That was close , thank you my goddess" said Odysseus , a few moments later Athena , Odysseus and Hercules travelled onwards down the path and headed towards the mountain pass to the east side...
