As the golden glow of sunlight shone across the island Athena and Odysseus walked through the forest , a few moments later they heard a noise coming from behind the bushes. "Come out now whoever you are , we are armed" said Odysseus as he and Athena drew their swords , a moment later a large muscled man came out from behind the bushes , "Athena!! , it is you" said the man as he smiled at her , "Hercules! , what are you doing here?" Said Athena.
"I have finished my quest and decided to explore the island's" said Hercules , "it has been a long while since we last saw each other" said Odysseus. "Yes it has been far to long" said Hercules as he and Odysseus shook hands , "you could travel with us a little while if you would like" said Athena , "yes I would like that" said Hercules as he grinned at Athena and Odysseus , a few minutes later they travelled onwards through the forest as the weather got a little hotter.
"It is a good day , the bright sun and gentle breeze feel good against my skin" said Odysseus , a moment later a bear came running towards them almost knocking Odysseus down. Athena and Odysseus drew their swords once more and stood in front of the bear , "no! , do nothing , I shall take care of this bear" said Hercules , a moment later Hercules stood in front of the bear and said "come on beast let us wrestle!" , Hercules grabbed the bear with his muscled arms.
He grappled the bear as Athena and Odysseus stood there and watched , "I am stronger than you , you furry beast!" Said Hercules as he smiled. The bear growled loudly as it swiped it's large paw towards Hercules , it's razor sharp claws almost tore his outfit as it attacked him , Odysseus reached into his bag and took out an apple and began to eat it as he watched Hercules fight the bear , Athena looked at Odysseus as he ate his apple and then laughed a little.
"Do you have some olives in your bag my love?" asked Athena , Odysseus reached into his bag and took out a jar and handed it to Athena , she opened the jar and began to eat the olives as she and Odysseus continued to watch Hercules. The bear tried to bite Hercules but missed him , Hercules grappled the bear down onto the ground and they wrestled across the grass , a few moments later Hercules punched the bear in it's back.
The bear grew angrier and pushed Hercules off and then stood on it's hind legs and growled even louder , Hercules swiftly got up and tackled the bear back down onto the ground. "This has been fun beast but now you must go" said Hercules as he grabbed the bear and began to lift it , Hercules used all of his strength and lifted the bear up above his head and spun around a little , a few moments later he three the bear towards the river.
"SPLASH" ... the bear landed in the river and whimpered , Hercules laughed as Athena and Odysseus and himself watched the bear climb out of the river and run away. "That was fun" said Hercules as he smiled at Athena and Odysseus , "yes that was a good performance" said Odysseus as he finished eating his apple , Athena closed the jar of olives and handed it back to Odysseus , a moment later Odysseus put the jar of olives back into his bag , "Let us travel onwards" said Athena , Odysseus and Hercules nodded and moments later they continued to walk through the forest.
A few hours later...
Athena , Odysseus and Hercules had left the forest behind them and found themselves at the mountains , the sun shone bright high in the clear blue sky as the wind grew stronger. "We shall need to be careful travelling through the mountains with these strong winds" said Athena , they walked across one mountain ridge after another until they found a rope bridge , "I hope that bridge is stable" said Odysseus , "I shall cross it first" said Hercules as he stepped towards the rope bridge...
