The Assassin

The sun's golden light shone bright over Mount Olympus as Athena and Odysseus began their journey , they travelled across the rocky terrain as they walked through the mountain pass and towards the forest. As Athena and Odysseus walked through the forest they heard the sound's of clanging steel and shouting , "let us see what is happening" said Athena as she and Odysseus began to run through the forest , moments later they saw the amazon warriors fighting against a horde of skeleton soldiers.
Athena and Odysseus drew their swords and charged towards the amazon warriors and assisted them , their swords clashed against the skeleton soldier's shield's. "We can fight for ourselves , we do not need your help" said the leader of the amazon warrior's , "there is strength in numbers , and we were happy to assist you" said Odysseus as he cut a skeleton soldier's head off , "very well , you may fight alongside us.." said the leader of the amazon warrior's.
The amazon warrior's fought alongside Athena and Odysseus as they battled the skeleton soldier's , bones fell to the ground and turned to dust as they vanquished the skeleton soldier's one by one. "KILL THEM ALL!" Said the leader of the amazon warrior's , suddenly they slashed and smashed their swords and shield's against the skeleton soldier's and shattered their bones into dust , moments later the skeleton soldier's were defeated and the amazon warrior's celebrated.
"Victory is ours!!" Said the amazon warrior's leader , "where did those skeleton soldier's come from?" Asked Odysseus , "we do not know , they came from the shadows and invaded our sanctuary" said the amazon warrior's leader. "My name is Odysseus , and I am Athena" they said , "my name is Danae" said the amazon warrior's leader as she put her sword and shield away , "wait! , you are Athena goddess of war?!" Said Danae , "yes it is I , Athena the queen of the god's" she said.
"Queen of the god's? , how did this happen?" Said Danae , "my father Zeus asked me to replace him as leader of the god's of Mount Olympus" said Athena. Danae and her warrior's bowed before Athena and thanked her for assisting them in their battle against the skeleton soldier's , "we must travel onwards my goddess" said Odysseus , a moment later Athena and Odysseus said farewell to Danae and her warrior's and continued their journey.
Athena and Odysseus talked as they travelled through the forest , "I wonder where those skeleton soldier's came from.." said Odysseus , "I do not know but I feel we shall find out" said Athena. As they travelled further into the forest it started to become darker and misty began to appear , "we are being followed" said Athena as she sensed a presence nearby , Odysseus and Athena drew their swords and stood back to back as the wind suddenly stopped.
The area around them grew a little colder as they saw something moving amongst the shadows , a moment later they saw a pair of red eyes staring at them from the darkness. Suddenly a shadow of a creature burst out from the shadows and leapt towards them...
