"SMASH!"...the hydra's tail hit a rock and smashed it as it attacked Athena , Odysseus and Hercules , "GET DOWN!!" said Odysseus as the hydra swung it's tail towards them. They swiftly moved out of the way just in time avoiding the hydra's attack , a moment later Hercules charged towards the hydra and humped on it's back and grappled it , as Hercules grappled the hydra Athena and Odysseus ran forward and attacked , they swung their swords through the air towards the hydra.
"SLASH!"... Athena and Odysseus cut a few of the hydra's heads off , as the severed heads disintegrated the hydra grew new heads , "we need to stop the heads from growing back" said Hercules as he punched the hydra's backs. Athena used her power's and made her sword and Odysseus's sword glow red , their swords burned hot as Athena's power's heated the blade's , the hydra roared and threw Hercules off it's back , "ah foul beast!" Said Hercules as he landed on his feet.
Athena and Odysseus ducked and weaved as they dodged the hydra's attacks , they quickly swung their swords towards the hydra's necks , "SLASH!!"... their swords sliced through the hydra's necks cutting a few of it's heads off. The hydra roared in pain but continued to attack them , the hydra swung it's tail towards Hercules as Athena and Odysseus continued their attacks , Hercules caught the hydra's tail in mid air grabbed it tight.
Hercules pulled the hydra across the rocky ground as Athena and Odysseus cut a few more heads off , "only three heads left" said Odysseus as he and Athena thrust their swords into the hydra's body. The hydra's blue blood dripped from it's wounds as Hercules kept his grip on it's tail , "let us end this!" Said Athena , Athena and Odysseus slashed their swords through the hydra's necks once more and cut off it's remaining three heads.
The hydra's body twitched as it's remaining heads fell to the ground and disintegrated , a few moments later Hercules swung the hydra's body around and around and then let go. The hydra's body went through the air and then landed at the edge of the mountain peak , the body fell over the edge and rolled down the side of Mount Helicon until it finally crashed into the ground below , a few moments later Athena , Odysseus and Hercules walked back inside the muses home.
"What was that creature?" Asked Calliope as she stood up beside the fountain , "it was a hydra" said Athena as she and Odysseus put their swords away. "A hydra?! , up here on Mount Helicon?" Said Calliope , "hydra's do not belong here , where did it come from?!" Said Erato , "I do not know but we shall find out" said Athena as Odysseus , Hercules and herself sat down and rested a little while , they stayed at the muses home stop Mount Helicon for a few hours or so and then decided to travel onwards.
They said goodbye to the muses and walked down the mountain path for a while until they had reached the swamp , by the time they had reached the swamp nightfall had come...
