Athena continued the celebrations with the Spartan and Athenian warriors after the defeat of the Persian soldiers , they continued to celebrate throughout the day , the Spartan's held wrestling matches and the Athenians held plays at the amphitheatre. Later that day as the sun started to set the Spartan warriors boarded their warships and sailed back home to Sparta , the Athenian's continued the celebrations as Athena stood atop the acropolis by the Parthenon , she looked out to sea as the sun slowly set beyond the horizon and the moon started to rise.
The Athenian's ended the celebrations and walked through the torch lit streets towards their homes , with a burst of red and gold light Athena had transported herself to Mount Olympus where she was greeted by Zeus. "I hear your beloved Odysseus has gone on a journey" said Zeus , "yes I will be joining him shortly" said Athena , Athena and Zeus joined the other god's and goddess's of Olympus and joined the feast , they ate meat , fruit and bread and drank their wine , then played some games together , "hey that's cheating" said Apollo as his twin sister Artemis beat him at his favourite game.
The god's and goddess's of Olympus laughed as Apollo chased Artemis around the hall , suddenly Hera the queen of the gods walked up to Zeus and smiled at him seductively , Zeus stared at her firm pert breasts and said "I think I'll join my wife somewhere quiet" then winked as he and Hera walked towards their room. Hades and Persephone vanished in a burst of purple light as they went back to the underworld , "Artemis laughed as Apollo continued to chase her around the hall.
Athena rested for a few moments and then transported herself to on board Odysseus's ship as he and his crew sailed towards Crete , "ah there you are Athena my love" said Odysseus as Athena walked up to him and kissed him. "I have missed you" said Athena then Odysseus smiled and held her in his strong arms, "we're almost there men" said Odysseus as his crew sailed onwards towards Crete.
