Sam took control of the ship and flew it towards a safe distance , a short time later he put the ship in orbit around a moon and began making repairs to the computer beside the pilot seat. "Hopefully it won't take long to fix" said Sam as Vanessa passed him some new parts , an hour later the computer was fully repaired and ready to operate , "ok let's see if it works" said Sam as he pressed a few buttons , the computer was working again as he activated the autopilot.
A few days later...
The ship was flying itself through space at a steady speed as Sam and Vanessa sat in their chairs on the bridge , "I hope the crew are doing ok" said Vanessa as Sam looked at the computer screen. "Hmm these readings say we've been brought one month forward through time" said Sam , "so the anomaly pulled us through time as well as space" said Vanessa , "yes it looks like it" said Sam as finished reading the data , "I have been learning about time travel recently" said Sam.
"Hopefully we can figure something out and get back home" said Vanessa , "all I need to do is modify the hypercore" said Sam , a few hours later Sam and Vanessa were in the hypercore room making modifications. "Ok it's done , all we have to do now is test it" said Sam , they left the hypercore room and ran towards the bridge and sat in their chairs , "ok you pilot the ship and I'll keep an eye on the readings" said Sam , "ok , activating modified hypercore now" said Vanessa.
The modified hypercore activated and the ship began to shake a little , suddenly the ship burst forward ripping into hyperspace , "I'm activating the shield's now" said Sam. The shield's came online as the ship moved faster and faster , then suddenly they could see a planet in front of the , "deactivate the modified hypercore" said Sam , a moment later Vanessa deactivated the hypercore and the ship stopped , "where are we?" Said Sam.
"Hmm the reading says , we're home but something is different" said Vanessa , "what do the readings say" said Sam , were back home but the year is different" said Vanessa. "What year is it" asked Sam , "it's 5249" said Vanessa , suddenly the alarms went off , "WARNING , HYPERCORE DESTABILISING" said the computer , "the ship is going to explode!!!" Said Sam...
