A few days later...
They had only just arrived at the Merina system and they were already under attack , "FIRE AT WILL!!" Said Sam , Vanessa fired the Delta torpedoes at the enemy ship then watched as the torpedoes smashed against the enemy's shield's. "Their shield's are down to seventy percent" said Navigator Emilia , "scan their ship , I want to know who we're fighting" said Sam , the ship shook a little as the enemy laser's hit their ships shield's.
"Scan completed , the enemy ship is a Grimzon ship" said Emilia , "I've not heard of them" said Sam , "I have heard of them , they're pirate's" said Echo as she walked onto the bridge. "Fire the ecto laser cannons" said Sam , "target their secondary propulsion system it's the weakest point on their ship" said Echo , Vanessa targeted the secondary propulsion system and fired the ecto laser cannons , the laser's battered the Grimzon ship's shield's.
"The shield's around their secondary propulsion system is failing" said Emilia , "open a communication channel to the Grimzon ship" said Sam , "channel open sir" said Emilia. "Grimzon ship , this is the Imperial warship galaxy , surrender now or we will destroy you" said Sam , the Grimzon ship ignored their communication and continued to open fire , "Vanessa , arm the temporal torpedo and fir on my command" said Sam , he tried to warn the Grimzon ship once again but they continued to ignore it.
"FIRE!!" Said Sam as his fist hit the arm of his chair , Vanessa fired the temporal torpedo towards the Grimzon ship's secondary propulsion system. A few moments later the temporal torpedo penetrated the enemy ships shield's and smashed into their secondary propulsion system and exploded , "KABOOM"... explosion's tore through the Grimzon ship creating a burst of light in a rainbow of colours , then suddenly the Grimzon ship imploded and shattered into pieces.
"There's another ship coming into the system at high speed" said Vanessa , a moment later another ship appeared in front of them and then stopped. "Sir incoming message from the other ship" said Emilia , "let's hear it , open the channel" said Sam , "you will surrender , resistance is useless , fear us....fear the reaper's" said the other ship's leader , "the reaper's...what are they doing in this quadrant?" Said Zero as he walked onto the bridge.
"Who are the reaper's?" Asked Sam , "the reaper's are one of the most deadly species we've ever encountered" said Zero , "they like to rip apart their enemies with their bare hands" said Echo. Sam thought for a moment and then said "open fire on the reaper's ship!!" , Vanessa unleashed a barrage of Delta torpedoes and a hail of ecto laser blasts , the torpedoes and laser blasts smashed against the reaper ships shield's , "minimal damage to their shields" said Emilia.
Suddenly another message came through as the reaper ships began to fly towards them , "resistance is useless...we shall exterminate you..." Said the reaper leader. A moment later the reaper ships opened fire , "what the hell is that?!" Said Sam , "it's an aether missile! , get us out of here!" Said Zero , Xena flew the ship towards the debris from the Grimzon ship and used the wreckage as a secondary shield , a few moments later the aether missile smashed against the wrecked and exploded.
The explosion sent out a shockwave and hit their ship , "our shields are holding , only minimal damage taken" said Emilia , "take us closer to that reaper ship Xena" said Sam. Xena flew the ship straight towards the reaper ship and a few moments later Vanessa fired another group of Delta torpedoes , the torpedoes battered the reaper ship hard and made their shields flicker , "their shields have dropped to fifty percent" said Emilia.
"Vanessa , arm the spatial torpedo" said Sam , Vanessa fired the spatial torpedo towards the reaper ship , the torpedo went straight through the reaper ships shield's and exploded. Explosion's ripped through the reaper ship and made the dimensions inside contort , seconds later the reaper ship exploded and sent a shockwave through the system , "get us out of here before that shockwave hits us" said Sam , Xena activated the hypercore and then the ship entered slipstream.
As the ship went into slipstream mode the shockwave burst and almost hit the ship , "nice flying Xena" said Sam as they just barely escaped the shockwave.
