The Heartless

When people think I’m heartless
They don’t see the nights I spent alone,
Sitting on my bed, heart aching for hours.
Those nights I poured my soul out,
Feeling worthless,
Questioning if I had a purpose.
Only I know how I fought through
Those dark hours.
Teaching myself to stand tall.
Even when every part of me
Felt like falling apart.
Choosing to keep going
When no one else knew the strength, it took.
