Sat side by side, our sneakers soaked in the mud..rain got low, and above us , the sky+stars. Those 30 min felt strangely peaceful! I wasn’t afraid anymore, at least not me. He was however still sad n apologising again for bringig me to such a place.
Watchin him worry only abt my safety, I understood something quietly.A man becomes a man not by his strengt or contrl, but by the way he thinks, the way he protects.In that moment, I knw by mah heart, for a man like him, I would surrender without any hesitation, without keeping any score cards of gendr equality , choosing instead to be his, becz it felt soo safe.
No grl wud evr wish fr a night like that. But deep inside, I always wished fr a similar day ..a moment isolated from the world..bit wild....vry frightening, but assured by the presence of him beside me.
