@E R O S Is it really possible, though, to give love without any expectation, no matter what kind of relationship it is—whether with family, friends, or romantic partners? I mean, true love, like with a mother or sister, is about giving without expecting, right? But then there’s also this need for balance—when one is down, the other lifts them up, and vice versa. That’s what makes a relationship strong. But at the same time, isn’t it natural to expect some level of reciprocity? We can’t really compel someone to give the same, but should we not expect some balance in return?
