I honestly don’t understand how Bajirao and Mastani’s love is often portrayed as passionate and eternal. From Kashi Bai’s side, sharing her husband with another woman must have been no less than killing her every single day. Love that hurts someone who has been loyal and faithful doesn’t feel pure to me. For me, their bond seems more like an extramarital affair than a soulful union. This is just my personal view, and I don’t mean to offend anyone.

It's true that Bajirao and Mastani’s relationship was complicated, and Kashi Bai’s pain and suffering in this dynamic shouldn’t be overlooked. Love, in any form, can be multifaceted and can hurt in ways we can’t always anticipate.
However, what I intended to highlight in my post was the intensity and uniqueness of Bajirao and Mastani’s bond. Yes, it was unconventional, and it came with its own set of struggles, but for Bajirao and Mastani, it was a love that transcended societal expectations and obstacles.
