As a frequent traveller, I no longer grumble about my temporary beds - whether on trains, buses or hotels. Nor do I feel overly elated. I have learned to take each day as it comes, knowing its impermanence, with the quiet confidence that I will reach home to the comfort of my pillow soon.

This morning it suddenly struck me - is not life itself just like this journey? Impermanent. Constantly moving. We get so attached to our comfortable beds and so upset about our uncomfortable ones, forgetting that both are only temporary. The wisdom is to keep moving lightly, without grumbling, without clinging, embracing the impermanence of it all.

A late realization, but perhaps an appropriate one for all of us. Less luggage more comfort! Wishing you a happy morning and life's journey that remains light.

Wish it was this easy!
When I start travelling the luggage feels light by the end of journey I have extra baggage.
I set the rules and break them, everytime.

Very true. Foreign traveler always have only one baggage that they carry on their back. Both hands always free. Where as we have our both hands holding travelling bags ad still few more that we have to search for coolie.
