There are so many things you don't ever want to lose. Can be your first compass box, first dress you bought on your own, first gift by someone, first CD, first soft toy, any damn thing.

I still hold my first pen which was gifted by someone special 10 years back .. I don't use it but kept pen safe in locker.
Almost 20 years back my maths teacher awarded me ₹ 1 coin for my best performance in maths then. That also in my locker.

What you don't want to lose anytime?
 
I have a copper and silver ring that's not expensive but i always wear it on my hand. It's a gift from my mom, something random that I liked and she got it for me when I was a child. It still fits my small finger.

Its my mother's ring. I cannot imagine parting with it.

My first gold earrings, bought by My Mom with her very first salary; the ring she gifted me on my birthday; and another ring made from the extra gold from her mangalsutra after my father's demise. ❤️

These are more than just ornaments to me; they hold precious memories of my parents and my mom's love.

I am my mom's precious gift, and I will always treasure myself as her daughter. No matter how life changes, being her daughter will forever remain my most precious title. ❤️

My grandfather gave me 10 rupees, when i was in school.. Now he is no more.. And i don't want to lose it

This looks so impossible!! Sometimes, we don't realise, sometimes we don't want to remember ... with those things, along with good memories lots of sad memories are associated.

The day my teacher awarded me ... he died in an accident just 3 days after.

Nope .. actually not a single thing of matrialistic that i would miss.

Because the most important feeligns are in my whole being.. the feeling of love and loss both.. if i close my eyes and my whole possessions burned down ..i would not regret anything.. just my people safe and i would start rebuilding..

I understand your POV... and people operate differently :)
