It was only when our conversations came to an end that my words learned how to fly. All the feelings I once shared with you, all the little complaints, the unspoken thoughts, and the things I wished I could tell you no longer had a place to go. So, I began pouring them here in forum, hoping that somewhere, someday, you might read them and understand what my silence could never explain.
Every line became a way of reaching you without actually speaking to you. Every word carried a little piece of what I felt, and every sentence held something I could no longer share with you. Perhaps, somewhere in my heart, I was still hoping that you would find these words and recognise the feelings hidden between them.
But somewhere along the way, something changed. My writings became more than a place to pour out my pain. They became a place where my heart could rest, where my feelings could breathe, and where the love I had nowhere else to put could still exist.
And today, whenever I reach the end of something I write, I find myself looking back at the old us. I can almost see us again in those final lines— our beautiful moments, our silly little fights, the laughter that came out of nowhere, the small things that once made us happy, and even those moments when we misunderstood each other but somehow still found our way back. For a little while, it feels as though I am living those memories all over again, meeting the versions of us that existed before distance and silence changed everything. Perhaps that's what makes the ending of every piece so special to me. No matter where my words begin, somehow, they always find their way back to us.
Maybe that's why I have slowly fallen in love with my own writings. Not because they are beautiful, but because they carry the part of me that still remembers, still feels, and still holds on to the little world we once shared.
You may have become a part of my past, but the memories of us still find a place in my present, quietly waiting at the end of every line. And perhaps, as long as I keep writing, a little part of our story will continue to live— not in our conversations anymore, but in the words that never learned how to leave.
