The fireplace burned hot and bright as Serena and Lord Henry made themselves comfortable, "I have been thinking about thing's and after what before with The Master, I have made a decision" said Lord Henry. "Alright I am listening, please continue" said Serena, "I will not send you away" said Lord Henry, "thank you sir!" Said Serena, "that is not all, there is more..." Said Lord Henry as Serena warmed her hands in front of the fire.
"It has not been that long since my wife Lady Verity died, however I did find myself attracted to you ever since you arrived here" said Lord Henry. "I could see that" said Serena, "It can also get a little quiet in the manor, I want you to move out of the private house and live in the manor with me" said Lord Henry, "really?, you want me to move In here?" Said Serena.
"Yes, you can take the bedroom just down the hall from mine" said Lord Henry, "thank you Lord Henry!" Said Serena, "you can also keep your job of course, I should have mentioned that earlier" said Lord Henry. "You can count on me Lord Henry" said Serena, "I know I can" said Lord Henry, "but what about us?" Said Serena anxiously as she adjusted her hair.
"Hmm, I do not know..." Said Lord Henry, "that is alright sir, I understand..." Said Serena with a look of sadness in her blue eyes. "Be patient, maybe something will happen in time..." Said Lord Henry, "alright, I shall go and get my belongings from the private house and bring them to my new room" said Serena, Lord Henry nodded and then Serena left the manor and went to the private house.
After she entered the private house, Serena went into the bedroom and packed away her belongings as Lord Henry continued to sit beside the fire with a glass of wine. A short time later Serena had returned with her belongings and headed towards the stairs, she still a had the same look of sadness in here eyes as she and Lord Henry looked at each other.
A few moments later Serena went upstairs to her new room and unpacked her belongings and then layed upon the large bed. "I shall wait for as long as Lord Henry needs..." Thought Serena, "I do like Serena but I do not know what to do, I shall just take my time and see what happens..." thought Lord Henry before finishing his whiskey.
