Once, while sitting at my study desk, I noticed a sentence in my chemistry book: 'The photoelectric effect is the emission of electrons from a material's surface when light of sufficient frequency shines on it.'
A doubt popped into my mind: Why hasn't the Earth been destroyed after millions of years of absorbing sunlight? Wouldn't the Earth's atoms lose all their electrons due to the photoelectric effect caused by sunlight (photons)?
A few days later, while finishing the chapter and starting 'Chemical Bonding,' I found my answer: 'Chemical bonding is the attractive force that holds atoms or ions together to form compounds. Atoms form bonds to achieve a stable electron configuration, typically matching the full valence shell of a noble gas (the octet rule).'
So, the explanation is that every object wants to achieve stability like noble gases. Once a few electrons are emitted, the process stops because the atom's nucleus holds onto the remaining valence electrons with a much stronger net positive force."

Then why don't you stop after becoming stable in your life why are you chasing those people/ things that gonna destroy you ???

Atoms know when it achieves stability, but we humans are still figuring out what that means. 6th sense play a vital role. We humans are like the uncontrolled nuclear fission reaction, where one nuleus (achievement) makes us wanting for more.

There is a difference between a human being and an atom An atom's only function is to remain stable, whereas human nature involves growth curiosity, and the exploration of new things...
