Venizia and Azryn left Equinoxa City and began their long journey home , they walked through the field's and across the hills towards Yzmara as the wind flowed around them. Several days later Venizia and Azryn had decided to stop near Vanyria and then set up camp for the night , after they had set up their camp they sat around the fire and remembered what had happened on their journey.
"So what was your favourite part of our journey?" Asked Azryn , "hmm it has to be the visit to the sanctuary" said Venizia. "Even when that creature escaped!?" Said Azryn , "that was scary but yes , what was your favourite part?" said Venizia , "hmm I liked visiting the Equinoxa aquarium but I also liked Kastellia City" said Azryn as he reached into his bag.
A few moments later he took out the Pharos crystal that he got from his friends ruined home back at Elepheron and looked at it. "I had forgotten you had that Pharos crystal" said Venizia , "yes so had I" said Azryn as he put it back into his bag , "let us rest , we have a long journey home" said Venizia , a few minutes later they went inside their tent and undressed before they slept.
They laid down and held each other as the moonlight shone through the red coloured fabric tent , a few moments later Venizia and Azryn had fallen asleep. The next morning Azryn and Venizia were woken up by a noise , they put some clean clothes on as fast as they could and left the tent , "who is there?" Said Azryn as he drew his hex rifle , he looked around but saw nothing.
Then suddenly a dark cloud of smoke swirled in front of them , "what is that!?" Said Venizia as she drew her crystal lightsword. "I think I know what it is" said Azryn as the dark cloud of smoke began to transform , Azryn quickly went into his bag and took out his Pharos crystal , "what is it?" Said Venizia , "it is an exowraith!" said Azryn , "I have never heard of them" said Venizia.
"It does not belong here in Tzatana , it belongs at the land across the sea in Ymeria!" Said Azryn as the exowraith completed it's transformation. The exowraith unleashed an almost ear piercing screech as it stared at Venizia and Azryn with it's glowing purple eyes , a few moments later the exowraith fired a blast of dark energy towards Azryn , just as the dark energy blast was about to hit him Azryn held out his Pharos crystal.
The dark energy blast hit his Pharos crystal as Azryn held onto it firmly , "ugh I can't hold it much longer" said Azryn , Venizia held his arms still as the exowraith's dark energy continued to hit the Pharos crystal. The Pharos crystal began to glow as it absorbed the darkness of the energy , "close your eyes!" Said Azryn , Venizia and Azryn closed their eyes as the Pharos crystal glowed brighter.
Moments later the Pharos crystal unleashed a blinding white beam of light towards the exowraith , the blinding white light from the Pharos crystal hit the exowraith hard. Ear piercing screeches filled the air as the white light from the crystal surged through the exowraith's body , moments later the exowraith imploded as the light from the Pharos crystal burned through it's body.
The Pharos crystal stopped glowing as Venizia and Azryn opened their eyes , "it has been destroyed" said Venizia , "that was just one exowraith , things would have been different against more of them" said Azryn. A few minutes later Venizia and Azryn packed up their camp and travelled onwards towards Yzmara , as they walked through the forest towards Kastellia City Azryn sighed a little.
"What is wrong?" Asked Venizia , "it was to easy , the exowraith should have been more difficult to kill" said Azryn , "what are you thinking?" Asked Venizia. "I have a bad feeling , that the exowraith was just a harbinger of something worse to come" said Azryn , "how much worse?" Said Venizia , "I think we should get back home the Yzmara as fast as we can" said Azryn.
Venizia and Azryn picked up the pace as they travelled onwards towards Yzmara , as they got closer to Yzmara the clouds became darker and thunder rumbled amongst them. They had travelled past Kastellia City and through the small forest as they began to run , as they ran through the flower filled meadow they could see flames and columns of smoke in the distance.
Fifteen minutes later they had gotten closer to Yzmara , Venizia and Azryn stood in the field of moonlily flower's and saw their home village on fire. "Oh no..." Said Azryn , "our home...what happened to Yzmara!?" Said Venizia as they watched the raging flames , thick black smoke and energy bubbles spread throughout the village , "who did this!?" Said Azryn , a few moments later they saw something in the sky.
As the dark clouds moved they saw the aurora lights in the sky , "oh no not again!" Said Azryn , "the aurora! and the energy bubble gateway's to the Nexus dimensions!" Said Venizia. Moments later they saw creatures flying through the village , "oh no those creatures must have escaped from the Nexus dimensions!" Said Venizia , suddenly they saw heavily armed Kastellian , Equinoxan and Lycanthrian warrior's enter the village.
"We are not alone , reinforcements have come to help" said Azryn , "we must help them!" Said Venizia as she drew her crystal lightsword. Azryn grabbed his hex rifle and a few moments later they ran towards Yzmara as more creatures emerged from the Nexus dimensions...
