Mysterious & Complicated

Sometimes I feel like people see me as complicated… like I’m hard to understand, distant, maybe even mysterious.
But the truth is, I’m not trying to be any of that.
I just don’t always know how to explain what’s going on inside me. My thoughts don’t come out simple, my feelings don’t fit into easy words. So I stay quiet… and in that silence, people create their own version of me.
“Mysterious.”
“Complicated.”


Maybe I am, a little.But not on purpose.
I’m just someone who feels deeply and speaks slowly about it.

It makes total sense. Sometimes the most important things in us are the hardest to put into words. I’d much rather have the real you, even if it comes in silence sometimes, than a simplified version that isn’t true.
