As I walked across the hot desert sand
I began to hear whispering in the air
I looked all around me but there was nothing there
The whisper's continued as I travelled onwards
Leaving my footprints behind in the sand
I saw a blurred figure appear before me
I looked closely at the figure , could it be...
It was her...my goddess Athena stood before me
She stood there silently and pointed ahead
She faded away as I wiped the sweat from my head
I travelled towards the direction she had pointed to
A skeleton lay there amongst the sands
I must find water and shelter or I shall die too
As I continued onwards I saw it as clear as day
An beautiful oasis was right there before me
My goddess Athena has saved my life today
I took as much water as I had needed
I kneeled down on the sand and pleaded
My goddess Athena appeared and showed the way
I travelled onwards across the desert until I saw it
I ran across the sand towards my home
Finally I had arrived home safely thanks to Athena
