Why would anyone want to be a vampire?
what are their powers and why can't they eat garlics?

To have super natural powers like longevity, the ability to transform into a wolf and/or a bat and can supernatural speed and strength and can drink blood from fresh veins like orange juice

Vampires doesn't eat garlic as slows the vampire down (the scent and if it is ingested, thins the blood) . Garlic will thin the blood
