And now the images are not displaying directly in Laptop as well. I did not make any changes, even not cleared browser cache, not even logged off

@Deepak Kiran it is because your laptop browser had cache time limit which was not get cleared until you do full cache refresh or clear cache, but when the cache time ends it get auto fetch new updated CSS and JS files from the chat server.

Not a bug...
