Since the latest accident involving Brazilian private company Vale do Rio Doce, not only the city of Brumadinho is suffering with the death of civilians and environmental damage.
It has now been detected that the Atlantic Ocean in the Brazilian coast has also been contaminated affecting sea life.
This is the second accident in 3 years. A total of over 60 deaths were officially counted in both accidents. Flora and fauna life have been permanently and severely affected, resulting in the death of a river.
According to investigators reports show that in both cases the company was aware of the risks and did nothing to prevent them.
